I feel like every time I use photoshop in this class, I am introduced to multiple new tools/tricks. Before this class, I knew the basics of photoshop, but I’m excited to become familiar with the ins and outs of this program and what it’s capable of.

Photoshop was something I spent a lot of time using in high school to edit photos and now something I use regularly in my own time to edit my own work. But using it in this new sort of surrealistic way was different and interesting.
Waiting for toast.
To depict “waiting for the toaster to toast” I thought a good indication to represent time in the drawing would be to show signs of cooking, which in this case would be the smoke coming out the top of the toaster. I also included someone waiting, with an engaged expression, to indicate the passing of time in an impatient way.
